It is one of the oldest Systems of Healing, dating back 5000 years ago.
The word AYURVEDA comes from Sanskrit terms: AYUR that means LIFE & VEDA that means KNOWLEDGE
Not just Human Life but All Life; In Ayurveda, health is defined as the dynamic state of balance between mind, body, and environment. We are made of the same elements that surround us. The three Doshas – VATA, PITTA, KAPHA in Ayurveda are derived from the Five Element: Either, Air, Water, Fire & Earth.
Doshas also known as mind-body types are unique blends of all elements and express physical, emotional and mental characteristics.
